The package comes with spacer plates which could be mounted between the inner and outer legs on the outside of the car.

I probably got a cage which was not intended for use with those plates, The matching holes did not match in case the plate were used and the tubes in front of the front window are too short for using the plates between the front legs.

I decided to use the spacer plates on the centre and rear legs, this gives me an extra 3 mm in hight just enough for mouting the roof tent.

As a consequence I had to enlarge the upper holes from the outer legs of the centre and rear  outer legs with 3 mm downwards.
